England Events 2024, 2025 and 2026

2024, 2025 and 2026 events in England

Depending on where you are in England, there are multiple regional events available for you to attend. These cover a range of activities from sporting events to county shows, music festivals and LGBTQ+ parades. For the most part, regional events throughout England are very popular and regularly attended. Royal Ascot in Berkshire is a popular event for racegoers, and though many people won't actually take part, it’s a newsworthy event with many people looking on to check out the outfits and horses.

Many other sporting events are also popular throughout England. The ongoing rivalry between the Cambridge and Oxford boat race teams is a permanent fixture enjoyed by the entire country, and is battled out every year on the Thames river. Then, depending on the location, summer brings in some of the big county shows such as the impressive Royal Cheshire County show. Here you can taste local produce, check out farm animals, watch sheepdog displays and much more. What better way to immerse yourself in local and traditional English culture.

Finally, there are many music festivals throughout England. Some of these are more notorious than others with Glastonbury being hugely popular among students who camp at the site for the duration of the event. Other festivals, such as the Isle of Wight festival, see some of the biggest names in the music industry perform. Kite festivals (Lancashire), aerial displays (Duxford), and Dickens and Shakespeare days all take place throughout the year, the latter taking place in the home towns of these renowned authors. In short, all major regional events tend to focus on food, music, sports or writers meaning there’s something for everyone.
